Angels came and ministered to Christ after his 40 days of fasting, after his temptation from the devil, in the wilderness. Angels came and ministered to Christ after his struggle. I don’t know exactly what that ministry looked like, but I am thinking probably that Christ felt the peace that passes understanding, and satisfaction in knowing that he was still standing in the will of God and in the strength of the Holy Spirit.

Honest? There’s nothing like going through a struggle and temptation and coming out on the other side victorious, and still standing and still in the grace and will of God, and still in the strength of the Holy Spirit. There’s nothing like coming out on the other side and having a peace that passes understanding and having the knowledge in your heart of God’s reality and goodness and desire to get you through your struggles and temptations.
Don’t give up in the midst of your struggles and temptations, because on the other side angels are waiting to minister to you.

This devotional is so powerful. There are so many times that I want to give up during the struggle because it’s can be hard sometimes. But, I love the lines “still standing and still in the grace and will of God, and still in the strength of the Holy Spirit.” This words are truer than I even understand. I need to recall them when I’m going through., because God is always faithful.
