An Arrow

The first visual art piece of the series.

Welcome again, readers, to the Mind Stayed series of metaphors. This week we are sharing a visual art piece. This piece, from Sara Oyela, is one she re-created from a college project. She says the following:

“One of my art professors assigned us the task of creating a piece that was art, but that didn’t look like art – something that was art, but something that audiences, when they saw it, wouldn’t know it was art.

I wonder if it was a standard assignment for this particular class? If someone historically has done the same thing I did for it?

Anyhow, the original arrow was painted red, which the professor took points off for because of my lack of thinking about the symbolism of the color red.
